Xiaomi reports Q2 2026 revenue of 108.9 billion RMB amid EV growth

Xiaomi reported its Q2 2026 financial results, showing a complex performance across its core business segments. The company achieved a total revenue of 108.9 billion RMB, though this represented a 6.1% year-on-year decrease. Adjusted net profit fell 42.6% year-on-year to 6.2 billion RMB, missing analyst expectations due to rising costs for memory and other key components.

The smartphone segment, while facing challenges, saw a record high in average selling price (ASP), which rose 25.9% to 1,351 yuan. This premiumization strategy helped offset a decline in shipment volumes, which reached 31.2 million units. Xiaomi maintained its position among the top three global smartphone manufacturers for 24 consecutive quarters.

In contrast, the electric vehicle (EV) and new initiatives segment showed strong growth, with revenue increasing 17.1% year-on-year to 24.9 billion RMB. EV revenue specifically accounted for 23.9 billion RMB, supported by 104,199 vehicle deliveries, a 28.2% increase from the previous year. Despite this growth, the new initiatives segment continues to operate at an operational loss as the company invests heavily in R&D and infrastructure.
