Xiaomi Auto announces 2027 European expansion and launches global website

Xiaomi Auto has officially announced its plans to expand into the European electric vehicle market in 2027. To support this international push, the company has launched its first dedicated global website and established new overseas social media channels. The new platform serves as a showcase for Xiaomi’s automotive technology, including HyperEngine, Hyper Die-Casting, and the HyperOS operating system. It also includes a portal for potential dealers and distribution partners to submit inquiries.

While specific models for the European market have not been finalized, the website features several prominent projects, including the SU7 sedan, the SU7 Ultra, the YU7 GT SUV, the SkyNomad, and the Vision Gran Turismo prototype. As of late July, Xiaomi reported having delivered over 700,000 vehicles.

In a separate development, technical code changes in the Apple Wallet app suggest that Apple is working on Car Key support for Xiaomi vehicles, which would allow users to use iPhones or Apple Watches as digital car keys via NFC technology.
