Xiaomi rolls out Bluetooth and firmware updates for HyperOS and Watch 5

Xiaomi has released new software updates for its ecosystem of devices, focusing on connectivity and stability.

A new Bluetooth update is being rolled out globally to Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices running HyperOS. This update aims to resolve issues such as audio stuttering during music playback, audio latency in gaming, and failures in automatic connection when opening earbud charging cases. It also expands compatibility with more headphone models for faster pairing and more accurate battery displays, while optimizing the Bluetooth service framework to improve energy efficiency during continuous connections with smartwatches or fitness trackers.

Additionally, the Xiaomi Watch 5 has received a firmware update (version OS 3.0.196.0). This update specifically optimizes WeChat message notifications for better stability and addresses known system issues, such as abnormal card display errors, to ensure smoother daily operation.
