Xiaomi rolls out Game Space feature for unified mobile gaming experience
Xiaomi announced that its Game Turbo acceleration tool has been upgraded to a new "Game Space" platform on its HyperOS smartphones. The feature allows one‑click storage of installed games, automatically sorting frequently played titles to the top of the library. Users can also apply exclusive settings for different game genres, such as high‑performance mode for MOBA titles or graphics‑boost mode for open‑world games, and customize device skins with personalized wallpapers, launch animations and widgets.
The update is being pushed gradually through HyperOS; devices that have not yet received the latest version will receive it via future software updates. Game Space builds on Xiaomi’s earlier initiatives dating back to 2018, when shortcuts for messaging apps were added, and the 2019 introduction of Game Turbo that managed CPU frequencies and network resources. The new platform aims to streamline game management and enhance performance while offering a more personalized visual experience.
