Xiaomi rolls out October security patches for 15 devices

Xiaomi has begun rolling out an October security patch for 15 different device models across its Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO brands. The update focuses exclusively on system integrity and security, containing no new features or user interface modifications.

The patch integrates 25 security fixes provided by Google, including seven classified as critical and 18 identified as high-risk vulnerabilities. These updates aim to close known loopholes within the underlying Android ecosystem.

The rollout spans two generations of Xiaomi’s HyperOS platform: twelve models are running HyperOS 4, while three models are utilizing HyperOS 3. In the European market, specific updates are available for the POCO M7 Plus, POCO M8s, and REDMI 15.
