Xiaomi to begin HyperOS 4 stable rollout on October 15
Xiaomi has announced that the stable version of HyperOS 4 will begin rolling out in batches starting October 15, following the conclusion of its beta recruitment program on October 14.
The initial wave of updates will target the Xiaomi 17 series, including the 17 Ultra (Leica Edition), 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro, and 17, as well as the Redmi K100 Pro Max, K100 Pro, K90 Pro Max, and K90. Tablet users with the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro and Pad 8 are also included in the first group. A second wave of updates is expected by October 31, covering devices such as the Xiaomi 17T, 17T Pro, Redmi K90 Max, K90 Ultra, and the Redmi Turbo 5 series.
HyperOS 4, which runs on Android 17, introduces a glass-style redesign and enhanced AI capabilities, including the integration of Super XiaoAI 2.0 and the proprietary MiMo large model. The update aims to improve cross-device collaboration and overall system smoothness. While the current rollout schedule is specific to China, global stable builds are expected to follow, potentially arriving four to six weeks after the Chinese release.
