Xiaomi to launch Redmi Book 2027 and Redmi K100 smartphone

Xiaomi has scheduled a product launch for October 27 in China to debut the Redmi Book 2027 laptop series and the Redmi K100 smartphone.

The Redmi Book 2027 lineup, which is expected to include 14-inch and 16-inch models, will feature an architectural shift to Intel’s third-generation Core platform, specifically utilizing Intel Wildcat Lake processors. Technical details indicate the devices may include 16GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and a 72Wh battery. Connectivity options are expected to include two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi K100 smartphone will join the previously released K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max. The standard model is expected to feature a 10,000mAh battery, which would be the largest ever used in a Xiaomi smartphone, alongside a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Additional features for the K100 include a dedicated graphics chip, an oversized vibration motor, and dual stereo speakers tuned by Bose.
