Xiaomi unveils Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 3 Max

Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 3 Max, a ceiling-mounted smart drying rack designed to optimize indoor space. The device functions as a ceiling lamp when not in use, maintaining a slim profile of only nine centimeters when retracted.

The system features a 1250-watt heating mechanism and a 770-millimeter air outlet, which Xiaomi claims can dry laundry up to five times faster than traditional air-drying methods. To combat microorganisms, the unit utilizes a dual-effect sterilization system combining a 99% antibacterial drying network with plasma release technology.

Built for heavy use, the rack is supported by a high-performance DC motor and a 2.0-millimeter diameter braided steel cable, allowing it to hold up to 45 kg. The telescopic central rod extends to 2.4 meters and is divided into five organizational zones, capable of accommodating approximately 80 items of clothing or two heavy duvets. Users can manage the device remotely via the Xiaomi app to adjust height, set drying timers, and program automated routines.
