Xiaomi has unveiled a new suite of in-house semiconductors, headlined by the Xring O3 (also referred to as Xuanjie O3) smartphone processor. Built on a 3nm process, the chip features over 24 billion transistors and is the first mobile processor to support LPDDR6 memory. The processor utilizes a 10-core CPU architecture and a 16-core GPU, with performance benchmarks indicating high competitiveness against industry leaders like Apple and Qualcomm.

In addition to the flagship smartphone SoC, Xiaomi introduced the Xuanjie O100, a 6nm AI accelerator utilizing wafer-level stacking, and the Xuanjie D100, a 3nm automotive AI chip. These developments are part of the company's strategy to reduce reliance on third-party chip suppliers and increase technological independence.

TSMC has been selected to manufacture the 3nm chips. Xiaomi has set an initial shipment target of 200,000 to 300,000 units for the Xring O3. The processor is expected to debut in upcoming flagship foldable devices and the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max tablet. The company also noted that shipments of its previous Xring O1 chip have surpassed 1 million units.
