Xiaomi Watch S5 smartwatch released with premium steel case and up to 21‑day battery life

Xiaomi introduced the Watch S5, a 46 mm smartwatch built with a 316L stainless‑steel case and a 1.48‑inch AMOLED display offering 480 × 480 pixels and a peak brightness of 2 500 nits. The device runs the new HyperOS 3 platform on a BES2800BP chipset and supports dual‑frequency GNSS (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS).

The Watch S5 ships with an 815 mAh battery that can last up to 21 days under light use, about 14 days in normal mode and up to nine days with the always‑on display. It is water‑resistant to 5 ATM, includes NFC for contactless payments, and offers more than 150 sport modes, a cycling navigation feature, fall detection with emergency calling, and offline map support.
