Skoda expands electric lineup with Peaq flagship and Epiq compact SUV
Skoda is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of two new models: the Peaq and the Epiq.
The Peaq serves as the brand's new flagship SUV, a large seven-seater built on the MEB+ platform. It features a length of 4.87 meters and offers various configurations, including all-wheel drive. Depending on the battery size (63 kWh or 91 kWh), the Peaq promises a range of up to 647 kilometers. The vehicle utilizes Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language, characterized by clean lines and a T-shaped light signature.
The Epiq is a more compact, entry-level electric SUV designed to increase Skoda's presence in the high-volume B-SUV segment. It is based on the MEB+ platform, offering a range exceeding 430 kilometers and fast-charging capabilities that can reach 80% in 23 minutes. The Epiq is positioned as a more affordable electric option within the brand's portfolio.
