Xingqudao launches new service standards for China's silver economy
Xingqudao, an adult interest-based learning platform, has released its sixth iteration of product service standards, titled the ‘Six-Dimensional Happy Learning Standard’. This update aims to address the growing needs of China’s silver economy, which is projected to reach a trillion-yuan scale. The new standards focus on six dimensions: being useful, loving, fun, beautiful, happy, and reassuring.
As China’s population aged 60 and above reaches 323 million, the national ‘15th Five-Year Plan’ has explicitly included the expansion of elderly consumption. Xingqudao’s data indicates that senior learners are increasingly seeking mental enrichment, with 42% participating to improve physical and mental health and 37% seeking social connection.
To ensure quality, the platform utilizes a ‘three-teacher’ service model involving professional instructors, teaching assistants, and class managers. The company also employs a ‘ten-step’ course refinement process, with courses undergoing an average of 10 rounds of revisions to meet the specific cognitive and emotional needs of older learners.
