Xinzhuang to host 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations

The ‘2026 Chao Yue Xinzhuang’ Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations are scheduled for September 19 and 20 in Xinzhuang, New Taipei City. The event aims to revitalize the local business district by blending traditional culture with modern trends.

Key attractions include a barbecue party at Bijiang Park, offering 10-person meal sets for 999 TWD, with registration opening on August 29. A Beyblade tournament, the ‘Chao Yue Cup’, will also open for registration on August 29, featuring prizes valued at over 30,000 TWD.

Other activities feature a nostalgic toy market in Xinzhuang Old Street, outdoor movie screenings at Wusheng Temple, and musical performances by artists such as Guo Jing and Guo Tingyun. The festivities coincide with the 340th anniversary of the Ciyou Temple construction and the 2026 North Taiwan Mazu Culture Festival.
