Xiquets del Serrallo launch ALS solidarity challenge in Tarragona

The Xiquets del Serrallo group in Tarragona is transforming its traditional Pilar Caminant event into a solidarity challenge to support those affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Scheduled for September 24 during the Mercè holiday, the initiative has partnered with the Fundació Catalana d’ELA Miquel Valls.

The campaign aims to turn the 500-meter route between the Tarragona Cathedral stairs and the City Hall into “solidarity meters.” The goal is to raise at least 500 euros, calculated at one euro per meter. Donations can be made via the Miquel Valls Foundation website, through Bizum, or in person at the Xiquets del Serrallo premises.
