XLSMART expands 5G services and spectrum use in Indonesia

PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk is expanding its 5G network capabilities in Indonesia through new spectrum utilization and service rollouts. The company has begun the gradual use of the 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz frequency spectrums to improve service quality and coverage, supporting national digital connectivity goals.

Additionally, through its SMARTFREN brand, the company has extended its ‘Unlimited 5G’ service to Makassar, South Sulawesi. This service offers users unlimited speed and data quotas while connected to the XLSMART 5G network. The 5G network is currently available in more than 50 cities and regencies across Indonesia, with plans for further gradual expansion to meet increasing demand for high-speed digital connectivity.
