The unauthorised footage, which has circulated online, confirms Apocalypse as the central antagonist and reveals the X‑Men spread across time, prompting a mission to restore the timeline.

The preview introduces several new teams and characters, including X‑Force members Cable, Psylocke and Jubilee, an X‑Factor lineup featuring Polaris and Val Cooper, and returning figures such as Colossus, Kid Omega and Gambit. The visual style retains the 1990s retro aesthetic while adding brighter colours and smoother animation.
