Xochimilco hosts inaugural Chilacayote and Pumpkin Fair

The first edition of the Chilacayote and Pumpkin Fair 2026 has launched in Xochimilco, Mexico City. Held at the Hueycalli site in San Gregorio Atlapulco, the festival runs from October 3 through November 2.

The event aims to promote local agricultural production in the Xochimilco region through traditional Mexican cuisine, workshops, tours, and contests. Gastronomic activities are scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 18:00. The festival coincides with seasonal Day of the Dead activities.
