Xolo Maridueña leaves Blue Beetle return in ‘Man of Tomorrow’ uncertain

Actor Xolo Maridueña has sparked speculation regarding his involvement in the upcoming DC Studios film ‘Man of Tomorrow’ after providing vague responses about returning as Blue Beetle. While Maridueña confirmed he received a surprise call from James Gunn while traveling in Japan to discuss a comeback, he remained evasive when asked specifically about suiting up in the character's costume again.

Maridueña expressed gratitude to the DC team for the opportunity but noted the inherent uncertainty of the industry, stating, ‘There’s never a guarantee with anything.’

The upcoming sequel features David Corenswet as Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, with the characters reportedly teaming up to face Brainiac. The cast also includes Milly Alcock, Nathan Fillion, and Isabela Merced.
