Xoxocotla parents protest for removal of primary school director

More than 200 parents from the Miaxochitl primary school in Xoxocotla have protested at the IEBEM central offices, demanding the immediate removal of the school's director.

The protesters allege serious irregularities, including verbal, psychological, and physical aggression against students and teaching staff. According to a spokesperson, these grievances have persisted since November 2025, yet authorities have failed to provide a definitive solution. The parents claim to possess evidence, including audio recordings, photographs, and signed documents, to support their accusations.

Francisco Valdepeña, the IEBEM Director of Primary Schools, met with representatives and stated that the director will remain in her position to protect her labor rights while investigations proceed. As a temporary measure, the educational authority will implement permanent school supervision at the campus to monitor activities and serve as a direct liaison.
