XP Inc. reports R$ 1.4 billion profit and record client inflows in Q2 2026

XP Inc. reported strong financial results for the second quarter of 2026, characterized by significant growth in client assets and net inflows. The company recorded gross revenue of R$ 5.056 billion, an 8% year-over-year increase, and an adjusted net profit of R$ 1.384 billion, up 5% from the previous year. Total client assets reached R$ 2.2 trillion, representing a 17% annual increase.

In the retail segment, the company saw R$ 20 billion in net inflows. However, analysts from Itaú BBA and BTG Pactual noted a trend where high inflows are increasingly driven by daily liquidity products, which yield lower returns for the platform. This shift contributed to a 5.5 basis point drop in the company's return rate on client funds over twelve months.

While retail remains a core component, the Corporate/Wholesale Banking division has become a vital growth driver. This segment generated R$ 1.175 billion in revenue, a 32% increase compared to the previous year, supported by services such as currency exchange and derivatives for companies.
