XP launches fraud alerts and WhatsApp banking assistant
XP has introduced new digital tools for its clients, including an interactive scam alert system and a WhatsApp-based banking assistant.
The scam alert feature is designed to help individual and corporate clients of XP, Rico, Clear, and XP Empresas identify potential fraud before completing transactions. Using a real-time risk analysis engine, the system triggers visual alerts and phone vibrations when suspicious activity is detected during Pix, TED, or boleto payments. Users are then guided through a dynamic questionnaire to help them make informed decisions.
Additionally, XP has launched an assistant for its Digital Account via WhatsApp. This feature allows eligible users to perform routine banking tasks, such as checking balances, making Pix transfers, and paying boletos, directly within the messaging app. To ensure security, users must activate the service through the official XP app and complete facial validation. This assistant is limited to daily banking operations and does not support investment trading or fund management.
