XPeng debuts G9L model at Paris Motor Show to drive European expansion

XPeng has launched its new G9L model at the Paris Motor Show, marking a significant step in its European expansion strategy. The company aims to open order books for European customers and will communicate specific pricing for the region during the event.

As part of its “In Europe, for Europe” strategy, XPeng is focusing on localizing production and research. Its Munich-based R&D center plays an increasing role in adapting vehicle technologies to meet local regulations and market conditions. The company reported that its international growth increased by 81% in the second quarter, with over 20,000 units delivered outside of China.

Beyond the G9L, XPeng is showcasing advanced technologies including NGP driving assistance, the IRON humanoid robot, and concepts related to flying cars. The company is promoting a “Physical AI” approach, described through the concept of “Car-as-a-Robot,” which integrates artificial intelligence with physical systems to allow vehicles to interact more effectively with their environment.
