Xpeng expands European presence with new EV models and futuristic concepts

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng is expanding its presence in Europe, currently offering three models in Spain: the G6 SUV coupe, the G9 premium SUV, and the P7 sedan. These vehicles utilize an 800-volt technology platform designed for high-speed charging and extended range. The G6 is positioned as a competitor to the Tesla Model Y, with prices starting around 47,000 euros, while the flagship G9 starts at approximately 61,000 euros.

At the IFA 2026 trade fair in Berlin, Xpeng showcased the Land Aircraft Carrier, a futuristic six-wheeled electric off-road vehicle. A notable feature of this model is its ability to carry a carbon-fiber drone capable of transporting up to two people, bridging the gap between road travel and flight.
