Xpeng expands premium electric vehicle lineup with high-tech models

Xpeng is distinguishing itself in the competitive Chinese electric vehicle market by focusing on high-end technology, software, and premium features rather than budget models. The company, founded by Xiaopeng He, also explores sectors such as drones, humanoid robots, and flying cars.

Recent models highlight significant technical advancements. The Xpeng P7+ Long Range RWD is a large fastback measuring over 5 meters in length with a 3-meter wheelbase, offering 313 hp and an 800V architecture capable of 446 kW charging speeds. It features a highly aerodynamic design with a drag coefficient of 0.211.

The Xpeng G6 Performance AWD offers 487 hp and an approximately 80 kWh battery, supporting rapid charging up to 451 kW. The vehicle features a minimalist interior with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, premium materials, and advanced seating options including massage and ventilation functions.
