XPeng expands production and launches MONA L03 SUV as Apple prepares earnings report

Chinese electric‑vehicle maker XPeng announced that its new MONA L03 SUV has entered pre‑sale, with prices ranging from 143,800 to 165,800 yuan across six versions. The top‑spec model accounts for most orders, setting a new record for the brand. At the same time, XPeng confirmed a 10 % increase in monthly production capacity for its GX model, aiming to place the vehicle among the top three sellers in its segment by the fourth quarter. The GX reached its 10,000th unit on July 1, and June deliveries totaled 6,739 units. The company also reported strong overseas interest, citing more than 1,000 blind orders from the Middle East and plans to launch the GX there soon.

Apple said it will publish its fiscal 2026 third‑quarter earnings on July 30, with a conference call scheduled for 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET. The call is expected to be CEO Tim Cook’s last as chief executive. Apple had previously reported fiscal 2025 third‑quarter revenue of $94.04 billion, a 10 % year‑over‑year increase, and forecast a 14‑17 % growth range for the upcoming quarter. The earnings release comes as competition intensifies with Huawei’s upcoming device lineup.
