XPeng, the Guangzhou-based electric vehicle manufacturer specializing in AI and autonomous driving, has introduced the P7+ sedan. Positioned as a potential competitor to the Tesla Model S, the P7+ is noted for being significantly more affordable, costing approximately half as much as its American counterpart.

The 5.07-meter long sedan features a highly digital interior centered around a 15.6-inch touchscreen. While the cabin offers advanced features such as camera-based rearview mirrors, a heads-up display, and high-quality acoustics, the heavy reliance on the digital interface presents some ergonomic challenges. XPeng officially entered the French market in May 2024, following the launch of its G9 and G6 SUV models.
