XPeng launches X9 pricing in New Zealand, deliveries begin

XPeng has announced pricing for its flagship X9 electric seven‑seat MPV in New Zealand, with the front‑wheel‑drive Standard Range starting at NZ$104,990 and the all‑wheel‑drive Long Range at NZ$124,990. The company said 20 demonstrator vehicles are already at dealerships and the first customer deliveries are starting this week.

The Standard Range uses a single 235 kW motor and a 94.8 kWh LFP battery, offering a WLTP‑quoted range of 535 km and 0‑100 km/h in 8.2 seconds. The Long Range adds a dual‑motor setup (370 kW, 640 Nm), a larger 110 kWh NCM battery, a WLTP range of 580 km and 0‑100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. Both trims come with seven seats, dual‑chamber air suspension, a Snapdragon‑8295 infotainment system, a 27‑speaker audio system, and XPeng’s XPILOT driver‑assistance suite, including automated parking and remote summon. Optional premium paint finishes cost an additional NZ$1,800 and an electric tow bar NZ$2,400.

The X9 undercuts rival Zeekr 009 by roughly NZ$45,000 at entry level, making it the second model in XPeng’s New Zealand lineup after the G6 SUV. XPeng also confirmed its L03 model will arrive in New Zealand in the fourth quarter of 2026.
