XPeng MONA L03 orders exceed delivery capacity as production ramps up

XPeng Motors Vice President Thomas revealed that daily orders for the MONA L03 model continue to significantly exceed delivery volumes. While production capacity has seen a notable increase in recent days, the company is working to meet high demand.

Earlier in August, Jiang Wen, General Manager of the MONA product matrix, noted that production transitioned to double shifts to nearly double efficiency. Despite recent supply chain fluctuations caused by high global demand for high-end process chips, the company reported that these issues are being overcome. XPeng expects to reach maximum production capacity during September and October.

The MONA L03 is a global model offering both pure electric and super extended-range power options. The pure electric version provides a CLTC range of up to 650km, while the extended-range version offers a combined range of up to 1380km. The vehicle saw rapid interest upon launch, with significant order numbers recorded within the first hour of its release.
