Xpeng rolls out G9 SUV and P7+ sedan in France

Chinese electric‑vehicle maker Xpeng introduced two new models to the French market. The 2025 Xpeng G9 SUV, priced from €59,990, offers a WLTP range of 540 km, 350 hp, 0‑100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and fast CCS charging. Deliveries are scheduled for September 2025, with a refreshed version arriving in November 2025. Test drives noted a semi‑autonomous Level‑2 system, a 14.96‑inch central screen, and lingering issues such as unintuitive window controls and a lumbar‑support software bug.

The Xpeng P7+ sedan is positioned as a lower‑cost alternative to Tesla, priced around €45,000. It measures about five metres long, seats passengers with spacious rear legroom, and provides a reported 530 km WLTP range (roughly 300‑350 km real‑world). Power output is 313 hp, and the battery can charge from 10 % to 80 % in 12 minutes on ultra‑fast chargers. Interior features include three screens, digital rear‑view mirror, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 725‑litre trunk. Both vehicles aim to compete in the European EV market with rapid charging and premium equipment.
