Xpeng rolls out high‑speed charging P7+ sedan and X9 luxury MPV for Europe
Chinese electric‑vehicle maker Xpeng is expanding its European portfolio with two premium models. The P7+ sedan, priced around €45,990, features an 800‑volt architecture that can accept up to 446 kW, enabling a 10‑to‑80 % charge in roughly 12 minutes. It offers up to 530 km WLTP range, power outputs between 245 hp and 503 hp, and a spacious 3‑metre wheelbase interior.
The larger X9 MPV, measuring 5.32 m in length with a 3.16 m wheelbase, targets the high‑end market against models such as the Mercedes‑Benz V‑Class. It houses an 800‑volt platform capable of 542 kW fast charging, achieving 26‑to‑90 % charge in just over 14 minutes. The performance version delivers 503 hp and 0‑100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, while offering WLTP ranges of 535‑615 km (real‑world tests suggest 350‑400 km). Prices start at €77,600 and rise to €86,600. The X9 includes luxury touches like leather‑Nappa seats with massage, a refrigerated compartment, and rear‑steering for maneuverability, but reviewers note higher energy consumption and some interior quality concerns.
