Chinese EV manufacturers announce new models and delivery milestones
Several Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers are announcing new models and reaching significant sales milestones. XPENG is preparing to introduce its G9L large SUV to the European market, featuring six and seven-seat configurations and a fast-charging capability of 450 kilometers in nine minutes.
Nio expects its third-generation ES8 electric SUV to reach 150,000 cumulative deliveries this week, marking nearly one year since its launch. The ES8 has become a core component of Nio's sales, recently expanding its lineup to include a five-seat variant.
In the premium segment, Voyah has unveiled its 'Huju' intelligent chassis technology, which will be featured in the upcoming Dreamer 9 MPV scheduled for release on September 22. The system utilizes air springs and electronic shock absorbers to enhance stability and comfort.
Additionally, SAIC Volkswagen has opened blind orders for the ID. ERA 5X, a pure electric SUV designed specifically for the Chinese market. The vehicle features advanced driver assistance systems, including L2++ urban NOA capabilities and high-performance computing chips.
