Xpeng to launch G9L SUV globally at Paris Motor Show

Xpeng has officially confirmed the global launch of the G9L, a large SUV scheduled for presentation at the Paris Motor Show on October 12. Measuring 5.12 meters in length, the G9L is larger than the current G9 and will be available in both pure electric and range-extender hybrid versions. The company plans to introduce the model in 64 countries, marking a continued expansion into the European market.

The G9L is expected to feature advanced AI-driven technologies, including the VLA 2.0 semi-autonomous driving system. Production is slated to take place in both Guangzhou, China, and at the Magna plant in Graz, Austria.

In separate testing of the existing Xpeng G9 model, the vehicle was noted for its luxury interior, featuring Nappa leather, dual 15-inch displays, and advanced massage functions. The G9, which is also produced at the Magna facility in Graz, utilizes the Xpilot Assist system for driver assistance and automated parking.
