Xplora Go Pad leaks reveal child-focused tablet from HMD Global
Leaks regarding the upcoming Xplora Go Pad suggest the tablet is being manufactured by HMD Global for the Norwegian brand Xplora. Designed specifically for children and families, the device focuses on educational use and parental supervision features, including content filtering and internet access controls.
The tablet is expected to feature an 8.7-inch IPS LCD display and a rugged design with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. It is reportedly capable of surviving drops from up to 1 meter.
Under the hood, the device is rumored to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset, which supports 4G LTE connectivity. Charging is expected to be limited to 18W. While specific pricing and release dates have not been officially confirmed by HMD or Xplora, the device appears to extend the brand's existing parental management software from smartphones to the tablet market.
