XRP and Dogecoin show potential buying opportunities amid investor losses

On-chain analysis indicates that holders of XRP and Dogecoin are currently facing average unrealized losses. According to data from Santiment, the 365-day Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio for XRP has dropped to approximately 0.92, representing an average loss of about 8% for holders over the past year. Dogecoin shows a more significant underwater position with an MVRV of 0.74, translating to an average loss of roughly 26%.

While low MVRV levels can signal areas where selling pressure may be nearing exhaustion, analysts caution that these metrics alone do not guarantee a price bottom. For XRP, market observers are watching key price levels, including support at $1.25 and potential resistance at $1.35 and $1.40.

Additional data from CryptoQuant shows a decrease in XRP futures open interest on Binance, falling from $538.1 million to $453 million between early October and recent dates. Furthermore, exchange reserves of XRP have reached the 99th percentile of the past year, though experts note that high exchange balances do not always equate to immediate selling pressure.
