XRP Ledger Fix Cleanup3_4_0 activation delayed to November 4

The XRP Ledger maintenance amendment, known as fixCleanup3_4_0, has a new earliest possible activation date of November 4. This delay follows a reset of the two-week countdown after the proposal temporarily lost its majority among validators.

To activate, the amendment requires continuous support from more than 80% of trusted validators for a full two-week period. Although the proposal regained majority support on October 21, the previous countdown was interrupted when support fell below the required threshold, nullifying an earlier expected activation date of October 23.

As of an October 24 snapshot, 32 out of 35 trusted validators supported the change, representing 91.43% support. The November 4 date remains conditional, as the protocol requires the consensus to be maintained uninterrupted throughout the entire waiting period. The amendment includes a collection of technical fixes affecting vaults, lending, automated market makers, and permissions.
