XRP Ledger nears Batch amendment activation and node upgrade

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is approaching the activation of the BatchV1_1 amendment, which would allow developers to group up to eight linked transactions into a single operation. This feature offers four distinct modes, including an ‘All or Nothing’ mode designed to ensure that if one step in a sequence fails, the entire operation is reversed to prevent incomplete transactions.

Activation is conditional on maintaining at least 80% support from trusted validators throughout a two-week countdown. As of late September, validator support appeared to meet this threshold.

In conjunction with this rollout, developers have released xrpld 3.4.1 to address a minor issue related to the Batch feature via the fixBatchV1_2 amendment. XRP Ledger Operations has urged node operators to upgrade to the new version to ensure stability. Developers noted that the issue did not impact the mainnet or result in any loss of user funds.
