XRP price falls despite record ETF inflows
The XRP cryptocurrency dropped to $1.10 on 24 June, even as institutional money continued to flow into XRP‑spot ETFs for a seventh consecutive week. The June inflows totalled more than $29 million, including a $5.31 million addition on 22 June. Analysts note that the price decline coincided with a broader market sell‑off in semiconductor stocks and a fall in Bitcoin below $62,000, leaving the relative strength index (RSI) at about 40 and showing no sign of an imminent trend reversal.
Technical analysis points to a weekly support level near $1.13 and resistance at $1.25–$1.35, with a break below $1.00 opening the path toward $0.90. Binance data indicate that roughly 53 % of XRP transactions are withdrawals to cold wallets, suggesting accumulation by large holders. The market commentary also warns that rally narratives often lack solid fundamentals such as network adoption metrics, and that derivative products add volatility and risk. Overall, the discrepancy between rising ETF inflows and falling spot prices underscores a cautious sentiment among investors amid broader market weakness.
