XRP and Ethereum ETFs see significant institutional inflows

The cryptocurrency market is seeing significant institutional activity, particularly within exchange-traded products (ETPs). US-based XRP spot ETFs recorded a notable $28.14 million net inflow on August 26, marking the second-largest daily inflow of 2026. This follows a period of high activity where XRP ETF trading volume reached a post-launch high of $125 million on August 20, with August net inflows exceeding $56 million.

Simultaneously, Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin has reached a market capitalization of over $2 billion. Approximately $1 billion of the RLUSD supply is currently issued on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), enhancing liquidity within the ecosystem.

In the broader market, BlackRock is seeing massive inflows, with its ETF-linked wallets receiving over $200 million in digital assets in a single 9-hour window. Ethereum ETFs are also gaining momentum, recording $713 million in net inflows over the past week, nearly matching the $884 million seen in Bitcoin ETFs. This surge in Ethereum interest represents the strongest weekly total for the asset in approximately ten months.
