Xryma Plc announces resignation of two independent directors

Xryma Plc, a regulated banktech group trading as ISX Financial, has announced the resignation of Independent Non-Executive Directors Christakis Taoushanis and Adonis Pegasiou, effective September 30, 2026.

Mr. Taoushanis, who served on the Board of Directors for nearly 10 years, also held the position of Chairman. His resignation follows governance policies from the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC), which state that directors serving more than 10 years on a CBC-regulated company's board are no longer considered independent. These policies also mandate that independent non-executive directors must outnumber executive directors.

During his tenure, Mr. Taoushanis oversaw the company's regulatory authorization as an Electronic Money Institution, a demerger process, and its participation in European Central Bank infrastructure.
