XTEND AI Robotics begins NYSE trading after $1.5B merger

XTEND AI Robotics has commenced trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker “XTND” following a $1.5 billion merger with JFB Construction Holdings. The transaction, structured as an all-stock deal, allows the defense technology firm to access public markets more rapidly than a traditional IPO.

Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, XTEND specializes in AI-powered autonomous robotic systems and drones used by defense, law enforcement, and security organizations. The company utilizes its proprietary XTEND Operating System (XOS) to connect software with various robotic platforms. XTEND reports having deployed over 12,500 systems across more than 30 countries and five combat zones.

The merger provides the company with approximately $67.7 million in cash to support the scaling of its manufacturing and robotics platforms. While the company reported a significant revenue increase in Q1 2026, it also noted a net loss of $11.5 million during the same period. XTEND maintains a global manufacturing footprint including facilities in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Israel, and Latvia.
