Xàtiva architectural heritage event attracts over 5,400 visitors
The second edition of Open House València in Xàtiva drew over 5,400 visits to the city’s historic buildings, marking a significant increase from the 3,800 participants recorded last year.
Data indicates that the Casa Mompó, once the residence of painter Francisco Lozano, was the most requested site with 1,000 registrations. Other popular locations included the birthplace of Pope Alexander VI, which saw approximately 800 visitors, as well as the Casa Santandreu, Palau de l’Ardiaca, and several other historic residences.
In addition to building tours, the event featured four thematic urban routes: Xàtiva Medieval, The City of a Thousand Fountains, Xàtiva of the Borgias, and Civil Architecture in Xàtiva. The demographic profile of visitors was predominantly general public (79.9%), with women making up 61.9% of the attendees.
