Xàtiva awards four local businesses for Valencian language use
The Xàtiva City Council has awarded four local businesses during the sixth edition of the Valencian Language Use Awards in Local Commerce. The initiative, supported by the Office for the Promotion and Use of Valencian and the Diputació de València, aims to encourage the use of the Valencian language in commercial activities, signage, and digital communications.
In the general category for businesses that had not previously been honored, Pura Vida Ecotenda received first prize of 1,100 euros for its ecological products. Llibreria Xàtiva was awarded second prize of 1,000 euros, and Xtel Xàtiva took third prize of 900 euros.
In the repetition category, designed for previously awarded businesses that have updated their signage or technology in Valencian, the Centre Veterinari Amics clinic received a prize of 250 euros.
