Xàtiva celebrates World Tourism Day with gastronomy and heritage events
Xàtiva will host the third edition of ‘Xàtiva al Paladar’ from September 25 to 27, 2026, coinciding with World Tourism Day. The event features gastronomic and tourism sessions organized in collaboration with the local restaurant sector.
Nine local establishments, including La Talaia del Castell, Els Porxes, Moncho, Ca Conxa, Ganesh, Sait Dia i nit, El Cullerot, Kubaba, and El Puerto de Granà, will offer special menus. These menus, priced between 20 and 32 euros, focus on local products, traditional cuisine, and seasonal ingredients.
In addition to the culinary offerings, the city has organized a variety of activities to promote its heritage. The program includes free access to museums and historical buildings, walking tours, a tourist train, music, and exhibitions. Tourism Councilor Raquel Caballero stated that the initiative aims to establish Xàtiva as a premier tourist destination by connecting gastronomy with the city's identity and territory.
