Xàtiva Fair 2026 concludes successfully despite weather disruptions

The 2026 Xàtiva Fair concluded with a positive balance despite significant weather disruptions. Severe storms and a thermal burst on August 15 caused damage to electrical systems and installations, forcing the suspension of several scheduled activities for safety reasons, including the closing ceremony and a pyromusical show.

One of the major highlights, the Nit Jove concert featuring La Fúmiga, Naina, and Romàntic Dimoni, was successfully rescheduled from August 15 to August 22. The rescheduled event drew over 7,000 people to Camp de La Murta. The concert served as a significant moment for the band La Fúmiga as part of their farewell tour.

Provisional attendance data indicates high participation across various venues, with approximately 19,000 people at Camp de La Murta and 3,000 at La Glorieta. The city expects total attendance to reach hundreds of thousands once official studies are completed.
