Xàtiva to asphalt over 20 roads and paths

The Xàtiva City Council has approved a contract for road surface improvements across more than 20 streets and paths within the municipality. The project aims to address significant deterioration caused by time and heavy traffic, including issues such as surface irregularities, cracks, deformations, and poor drainage.

The works will cover various locations, including Avinguda Corts Valencianes, Avinguda Ausiàs March, Carrer Virrei Lluís Despuig, and several local roads and paths such as Camí Fillola and Camí Pinyana. The project also includes streets used during the urban motorcycle race held during the August Fair.

The initiative is fully funded through the 2024-2027 Works and Investment Plan of the Diputació de València. The base budget for the contract is 791,945 euros (including VAT), which will be charged to the 2026 municipal budget. The execution period for the works is expected to be four months.
