Xu Xinying defines Hsinchu County election theme as clean politics

Kuomintang (KMT) candidate for Hsinchu County Magistrate Xu Xinying has defined her campaign theme as “clean and capable politics against moneyed politics.” During a vision symposium hosted by Zhubei mayoral candidate Wu Xuzhi, Xu emphasized using technology to improve public services.

Xu proposed a “Dual AI” policy consisting of technological innovation and humanistic care. Key initiatives include establishing an “AI Industry Academy” to integrate county resources and using big data and AI-driven dynamic traffic control systems to alleviate congestion. She also aims to use technology to improve medical and educational resource distribution in remote areas.

Yang Wenke, Chairman of the KMT Hsinchu County Branch, publicly endorsed Xu, describing her as a pragmatic and trustworthy candidate with a technical background who lacks ties to land speculation. Yang urged party unity to ensure the continuity of the development and infrastructure achievements established over the past eight years in Hsinchu County.
