Xuân Sơn National Park in Phú Thọ Offers Four Seasons in One Day

Located about 130 km northwest of Hanoi, Vietnam’s Xuân Sơn National Park in Phú Thọ province experiences weather that can feel like spring, summer, autumn and winter within a single day. Morning air is cool like spring, midday sun brings summer warmth, afternoon breezes resemble autumn, and night temperatures drop to a winter chill.

The park is unique in Vietnam’s national‑park system: it is the only park with primary forest on limestone mountains, covering roughly 2,432 ha at elevations between 700 m and 1,300 m. Its karst landscape hosts extensive cave systems such as Hang Na, Hang Thổ Thần, Hang Cỏi and Hang Lạng, as well as waterfalls, streams, and villages of the Dao and Mường ethnic groups. These natural features make Xuân Sơn a popular destination for heat‑escape trips, forest trekking and nature‑based recreation.
