Xunta de Galicia allocates 300,000 euros to support ERC research finalists

The Xunta de Galicia has approved a new 300,000 euro funding initiative to support six Galician researchers who have reached the finalist stage for the European Research Council (ERC) grants.

These funds are intended to strengthen the candidates' research projects and increase their chances of securing the prestigious European grants, which are recognized for funding high-level frontier research. The measure aims to bolster the scientific excellence within the autonomous community by supporting researchers competing in one of Europe's most competitive funding programs.
