Xunta de Galicia allocates 690,000 euros for Viveiro youth hostel renovation

The Xunta de Galicia has launched a tender for 690,000 euros to renovate the Albergue Juvenil Area de Viveiro. The project aims to modernize the facilities and improve services provided to young people.

Announced by the Minister of Culture, Language, and Youth, José López Campos, the comprehensive renovation includes upgrading bathrooms and changing rooms, replacing flooring, wall coverings, and false ceilings. The works also involve replacing heating components such as radiators and pipes, as well as partially renewing the sanitation network and water supply connections. The initiative is intended to ensure the facility remains a high-quality reference for summer youth activities in Galicia.
