Xuxa kicks off farewell ‘O Último Voo da Nave’ tour in São Paulo
Brazilian TV icon Xuxa Meneghel opened her final tour “O Último Voo da Nave” on 25 July at São Paulo’s Nubank Parque, marking the retirement of the spaceship set that has been a hallmark of her shows.
The production, built by a Dutch firm that has worked for Beyoncé, features a 360‑degree stage and a setlist of 31 songs that span her career from the original “Xou da Xuxa” to recent “Xuxa Só Para Baixinhos” releases. Sponsors include Itaú Live, 30e, Monange, Petlove and other partners.
Deezer data released alongside the launch showed the ten most‑streamed Xuxa tracks among Brazilian listeners, with “Estátua” and “Dirigindo meu carro” leading and overall streams up 104‑524 % since May.
During promotion, Xuxa clarified that several former Paquitas were not invited to appear on stage, stating she only cuts ties with those who are homophobic. Former Paquita Bárbara Borges confirmed she was excluded but allowed her image to be shown on the screens, noting she faced backlash after defending former director Marlene Mattos.
The tour will continue with additional dates in São Paulo (31 July), Curitiba (26 September), Belo Horizonte (14 November) and Rio de Janeiro (20 December), with the Rio show slated for broadcast by Globo and Multishow.
